The sonic and knuckles CD collection (for PC) has to be some sort of
emulator with a modified ROM...

The LLL RRR UUU code still works to get into the sound test but you can't
use the sound test because you only have 1 button (C plays them I believe)
and you only have A I think. The game is exactly equal to the real games, no
grafx changes(that I can find) no sound changes nothing is different... This
is basically a sonic 3, 3k and s&k emulator with a front end. If this isn't
an emulator than what do they pay those programmers because they even put
some of the game's bugs in there.

The reason they didn't put Sonic 2 and Knuckles in there is because it was
released in 97 the sonic2 extra ROM wasn't dumped then...
If this is actually an emulator than they made a really good emulator
because there's no windows emulators that run that fast on a 133MHz
