Sent in by an anonymous worker back in the Sega Saturn Days, and brought to the world by IceKnight, these few pictures depict what was once a small mini game avaliable inside the Sonic 3D game. This is the Egyptian level. |

Originally programmed by Peter Morawiec, the Sonic Pool would have you position Sonic to look a certain way, and would have him go into a spindash and hit the balls in the arena around like Pool. It would also have a few things like rings and other objects to keep you from reaching your goal, almost like a Pool version of Mini-Golf. This was the Space Zone, with the Death Egg floating in the backdrop. |

This is the colloseum level. the game would also have a timer, but you'll notice all the hard copy pictures have 34 seconds left, 2/7 balls, and 12 rings. |

This was the ice level, and it only has 5 balls instead of 7 like the others. The small amount of balls probably meant the timer was for the whole level. |

Heres a more in-game shot of the Pyramid level, with the HUD now at the bottom. |

Here is a picture of the Circus level. |
