The background is very dark and can barely be seen, unlike the Sonic crackers styled backdrop seen in the final game. He is also equipped with items from his 3rd and 5th phase |

Submitted by: KojiChao This are the only decent models of Knuckles in the entire game. We assume they would have been loading screens for the special stage, but were unused in the final game. The special stage may have been directly from the Saturn version, which would require loading, but the final PC Special Stage is done in a way which does not require it as much, of course this is just speculation. |
