quick scan was in Megazone [before it became SEGA Megazone]
in september of '92. Its a quick rundown of the features, but
gets mixed up between the Master System and Megadrive versions.
It does mention that Sonic 2 is coming to the Mega CD though.

early preview by Mean Machines SEGA in their first issue has
some decent quality shots of Sonic 2. It mentions that currently
Tails can 'steal rings' from Sonic, which Tails cannot do in
