These 7 animations were found deep within Sonic 2, showing Sonic sitting down with disappointment, looking towards the screen, and pulling. These are never used, not even in the BETA. The first 4 animations look like something from a waiting animation, while the pulling looks like there may have been puzzle elements [Possibly in Hill Top Zone's lava areas] |

This is a missing ledge animation found in the game. It's different from both Sonic 1 and 2, and didn't find it's way in any shape or form into the final.

By altering animation frame values, IceKnight was able to find these two animations, situated after the Walking and Running animations. It is assumed that these were used when Sonic would start going very fast.

This spring monitor never made it to the final game. It probably would have either made Sonic's jump higher for a brief period, or work like Sonic Triple Troubles powerup, which straps a spring underneath Sonic's feet. |

This lamp post can be seen in the debug mode of S2B. It's very different to the final one, almost futuristic. |

This was an alternate 'hit' animation for Eggman in Chemical Plant Zone. At one point, Eggman would dose himself in the Blue goop when hit. |
