Here's an interesting discovery, Hivebrain has discovered the word "Mountain" within Sonic 2. It would have been used with the game's only other Mountain, Gimmick MT, but because of the lack of writing space on screen, they changed it to MT. but had Mountain in at some point.

These are numbers done in the title font of Sonic 2 GG, but do not appear in the game. A different "Act 1", similar to Sonic 1 title cards, appear instead.
