At the very beginning the SEGA logo pops up. |
After that, the Sonic Team logo. |
The Sonic 10th anniversary logo pops up with the Beta name 'Sonic The Hedgehog Advance', and telling us that the game is being developed by Dimps. |
The 10th anniversary logo then faes out to black. |
Sonic appears, for the first time on another console, and gives a thumbs up to the viewers. There are a lot of things different with this demo and the final game. Firstly, the background is very different, the islands are closer to the shore Sonic is standing on, and the clouds here are more cartoony, when in the final they're more realistic. |
Sonic does his waiting animation. The area is a little similar to the final, but is still very different. The wooden fence behind Sonic is not in the final game, and the rocks in the sand next to the roadway aren't there either. |
Sonic then begins to run to the right of the frame. The palmtrees are also different to the final. Here you can see that there are palmtrees in the foreground as well as the background. In the final only palmtrees appear in the background. They are also a lot taller than they are here. |
Sonic gestures to the screen. The bushes to the bottom of screen are missing their red flowers that they have in the final. |
And finally, Sonic runs off screen. |
And this coming soon screen pops up to keep everyone guessing. |
For comparison, heres a shot from the final game. It looks a lot more bland, with no fence or the beach it stands on, no rocks, no red flowers, and palmtrees tall enough to be out of the screen completely. |
