Here is the original 'GO' writing. It's in between two lines and uses a very basic styled font.

This is the final 'GO' bit, much larger with a Sonic Battle styled font instead.

Originally it would tell you who won the battle before the next screen, again with the same 'boring' font style.

The final picture uses the Battle font style with a white surrounding, and doesn't say who the winner was until the next scene.
