When the track breaks apart near the end of the level, Team Rose fights off two Egg Pawns. In an early video, the fight 3 Flappers.

This section doesn't take place in Team Roses game, but is reachable. It appears straight after the end of Team Roses level. With some quick thinking and cheating the system, you can get to this section, but the fan is turning in the opposite direction.

This screenshot, released on the 28th of August 2003, has a lot of minor things changed to it in the final version. Firstly, the help monitor has a picture of a shoe on it, instead of the word 'speed'. This was shown in an old video with Tails' Tails showing instead of the word 'Fly'. The enemy is red instead of green here, and the second possibly way through this section is missing.

These next two images are from the final Sonic Heroes game.

Here you can see that the enemy is now a Green Flapper which shoots electricity.

The monitor has changed as well. The platform just in front of them, and the 'Fly' sign, are also missing from the original screenshot.

Also, the original screenshot seems to have the rings curve up with the line's angle. In the final they're in the same position, despite going upwards.
