This video shows Sonic playing through the first level of Sonic Rush. It is from an earlier version of the game.

Firstly, the music is completely different to the final game. The levels mucis is an extended version of another piece entitled "Blaze Appear". The Bosses music is not used in the game at all, but was possibly a remix of it [similar to the Blaze remixes used throughout the game.

The video also shows Sonic boosting while in mid air. In the final game, you can only boost while on the ground. Here, Sonic boost diagonally in mid-air.

Lastly, The boost meter rechagres all by itself in this video. Though slow, it rejuvenates about 1 slot per second. Not much of a helper, but it is not in the final game.
