This special stage doesn't pop up in the final. It's similar to the Tornado special stage in the full game, but here Sonic seems to just be falling.

Here Sonic is shown using the Strike Dash maneuver, however it's shown with Sonic catching alight. In the final, Sonic just has stars behind him.
