This is a concept image found in the Red Shoe Diaries which is supposedly Jade Gully. Unfortunately, the final level doesn't look much like it at all.

This image clearly shows Sonic using his ability to make 180 degrees in gravity, at least with the fish eye camera. The water has flip-flopped and is now looking like it were at the top of the stage.

Sonic jumps ontop of some Greenhill styled checkerboard patterns.
If you look at this image closely [taken from the TGS Sonic X-Treme video], it's in the exact same place as the image above! The only difference being that the classic Greenhill checkerboard is now green. The rings don't appear in the previous image either.

Sonic is running so fast in this image that he's almost off screen. These 'sprints' may have been part of the level design, or the camera was simply pulled back for this shot. This also appears quickly in the TGS video.
Sonic appears to be jumping through a cloud in this image, also note the Palm tree in the background by it's lonesome, very similar to the Green Hill one.
Sonic jumping around the oddly small passageways. Considering the speed we've seen in the TGS video, it's almost be impossible to not fall off these bridges.
In this part of the video, Sonic is seen constantly jumping around. He also seems to defy gravity a number of times and be able to 'double jump' constantly.
In this image, Sonic is rolling around a hexagonal loop de loop. He's in his jumping animation, doesn't appear to be facing the correct direction, and is having no contact at all with the rings surrounding it.
Sonic steadily jumps up these steps without ever coming out of his jumping animation, not to mention he's facing forward if we go through his sprite files. He seems to have slowed down considerably here.
Sonic runs in the only large piece of land seen in the video. He moves so fast it seems like he'd be out of control and could easily hit an enemy. He doesn't skid or slow down either..

This is from a very early rendition of Jade Gully. It's from the Sonic X-Treme 718 Prototype, which is basically a small 3D area of ground to test how Sonic would work with unflat land. This image shows some Flickies walking around in the background, not seen in the images below.

Sonic is running through the area. You can tell that this is not the Nack arena because the background is entirely different with a photorealistic backdrop.

This shows off the water a bit more than the others. There seems to be a single tree in the back as well.

Just like Sonic X-Treme 718, the timer drops down, and the score counter continuously goes up. The ring counter gets larger, and the score increases.
