We assume this is the Red Sands zone, since it's the closest we have to a Pyramid-type level. The repeating blocks are golden yellow and brown, and is populated by the 'Gyro' and 'Jeta' badniks.

This image shows a water bridge for Sonic to walk across. Whether they intended to keep the 'Sonic game swim' idea or not is unknown. This image also shoes 2 Trilldrills flying around.

This image was most likely taken a few seconds before the one above. On both sides of the screen you can see sand fall, or some sort of forcefields.

Sonic is walking towards an odd shaped loop. Other videos have shown that Sonic was able to defy gravity and switch around the place, Sonic would have been able to run up the walls and into the small hole at the top.

An odd section found in a article, it looks like Sonic is going through a long tube of the Red Sands zone, almost like the Chaotix special stage.
