This
image was one of the first of Sonic Adventure to become avaliable,
and sticks very closely to it in the final. In the final the
textures are slightly different.

In
the prototype video this marker is a little a fair distance
away from the one in the final.

Taken
out for no particular reason, this great 'balcony' across the
side of the lost world lost the great floor texture in the final.
In the final, it's been replaced by a very basic sand path.

At
the beginning of the level, Sonic can easily drop down these steps,
but in the prototype video Sonic has quite some difficulty in
getting down, stopping and starting on each step.

Just
down a little further is a hazard area. Sonic must cross three
rows of fire arrows, and another caterpiller enemy. Botht hese
items are taken out of the final, with the Fire arrows only seen
in the mirror area later on.

The
snake room is still intact, but the giant snake seems to be floating
in thin air! The water rising must not have been implemented yet.

This
is the end of the Waterslide down, which goes down the waterfall.
Here, Sonic is running down the waterway, but in the final he
slides down it.

Knuckles
is running around his section of the Lost world, but according
to the level procedure, he should have received the shovel claw
by now.

Knuckles
then proceeds to fly around the room. In the final game, this
is where Sonic finishes Lost World.
