this cutscene, these 7 Chaos Emeralds twirl around, but the
actual cutscene is never shown in the final game.

In
Tails' TV advertisement the same emeralds and shown spinning
around, but oddly have doubled to have 14 emeralds. This was
probably just a cheap trick to show how the Emeralds would zoom
in on the screen.

Whirl appears in the end of the Knuckles' commercial, but never
made it to the final game. It was probably part of the Perfect
Chaos FMV since the elements are out of balance.

The
prototype video shows a Sonic Team logo in the same vein as
the NiGHTS opening, the final version is much different.

Closer
to the final design, the Sonic Team logo from the downloadable
video off Sonicteam.com is the same design wise, but the sound
effects are very different, with no 'Sonic Team' sound effect.
